‘Sady Pridonia’ develops domestic gardening as a branch. Several hundred hectares of young gardens are planted annually in their own farms, old gardens that have fallen out of use are uprooted, and thousands of kilometers of drip irrigation are constructed. Today the total area of ​​gardens is 8 thousand hectares.

Gardening farms are located in Volgograd, Saratov and Penza regions.

The issue of developing our own raw material base is of great strategic importance, therefore our Company is creating a serious foundation for the future.

The Company has two nurseries with an area of ​​over 30 hectares, both located in the south of the Volgograd region (in Gorodishchenskiy District).
We use our own planting material for super-intensive gardens, producing about 500 thousand healthy and high-quality seedlings per year.

Our nursery perform serious variety testing work on a permanent basis, using effective methods and techniques of modern agricultural technologies. Each seedling undergoes a thorough examination. The nurseries strictly observe all the fundamental conditions for growing high-quality rootstock, while taking into account all the trends that are developing in today market.
Trees grafted on its own rootstock are highly resistant to pests and diseases, early fruit bearing and productive, have high resistance to external factors and low temperatures. And most importantly they are well compatible with all varieties, and there are more than 100 of them in total.

I. V. Michurin considered nursery farming to be a ‘heavy industry of gardening’. This is indeed the case. Our farms employ highly qualified specialists with unique experience and performing a wide range of work.

Everyone knows that it is important not only to plant absolutely healthy material, but also to painstakingly care for it.

One of the priority areas of our agricultural service is irrigation. The Company uses the latest drip irrigation system to water trees, which allows for the supply of moisture to plants during critical periods of growth and development in the required quantities, which in turn makes it possible to save water and energy resources. This ultimately affects the ecological purity of the fruits.

The capacity of the pumping stations allows for the daily irrigation of 200 hectares. Each tree receives 3,000 liters of water per season.

Special attention is given to the condition of the soil. For more rational and optimal use of fertilizers and mineral elements in the garden, extended monitoring of the condition of the soils of farms is carried out, on the basis of which a map is compiled with detailed information on whether the trees in each block are receiving the right nutrition. This allows for a prompt response to any situation.

The efficiency of drip irrigation reaches 85-90% since water goes directly to the root system of both young and adult trees. The total length of communications (drip tape) is 12,000 km, which is comparable to the distance from Moscow to Vladivostok and back.

Rich nature, daily, painstaking work of a team of professionals, the use of the latest agricultural technologies and modern machines makes our apples, cherries, plums and a number of other fruits special.

We work with two different philosophies’. One is based on the development of an industrial garden, growing products for use in juices and baby food. The other concerns the production of premium fresh apples for sale.

There are more than 100 varieties of apples growing in our gardens. In percentage terms: 20% are summer, 30% are autumn and 50% are winter varieties. Each variety has its own characteristics, taste, aroma: some are sweet, others are sour, and others are sweet and sour. Using a huge variety of varieties by ripening time, the Company has organized a ‘conveyor’, due to which apples are processed from June to November.

Upon arrival at the production facility, the apples are sorted into 2 groups: green and mixed. What is the reason? Different varieties are used to make direct-pressed juice, and green varieties of apples are used to make juice that can be consumed even by allergy sufferers, as green apples are considered the least allergenic fruits in the world. We grow intensive (they begin to bear fruit in the 4th year) and super-intensive orchards (they begin to bear fruit in the 2nd year).

Much attention is paid to the development of the cherry sector. In 2022 ‘Sady Pridonia’ Company acquired three apple harvesters, which have no analogues in the world. The machines were made specifically to order in Germany. One harvester can replace 100 people. Today the total area of ​​the Company's cherry orchards is 600 hectares, where 450 hectares are operational.

The main varieties our farmers work with are characterized by high potential productivity. The pulp is juicy, dense, the taste is sweet and sour, which is ideal for juice production.

Cherry harvesting is carried out using special combines with high productivity. One tree takes 1.5 minutes, which is 50 times faster than a person.

One of the Company's agricultural branches specially grows a number of vegetables for its subsequent processing into puree: zucchini, carrots, pumpkin, beets, cauliflower, broccoli, celery, sweet pepper. Our agronomists check the variety composition taking into account the requirements for raw materials used in the production of baby food. Therefore the vegetables have excellent organoleptic qualities (appearance, color, consistency, smell, taste).

We do not sell raw materials, but use them only for the production of our own products. Variety testing helps us make the right choice and get excellent results.

All sites meet the most modern requirements in terms of technical equipment.

Fruits and vegetables are processed as well as natural and environmentally friendly food products are produced with the help of advanced high-tech equipment from leading European companies. Many lines in production have no analogues in Russia, and some even in the world.

In the first years of its existence, our plant produced only 620 tons per year. Nowadays 23 production lines produce up to 2,300 tons of finished products per day.

The processing capacity is 1,700 tons per day.

Our specialists regularly improve their qualifications by receiving additional professional education in specialized training centers created on the basis of equipment manufacturing companies as well as Russian universities.

Specialists of the Company conduct more than 500 studies on the quality and safety of incoming raw materials and finished product every day. Quality control of raw materials grown in the farms of ‘Sady Pridonya’ begins with a deep analysis of the soil on which the fruit and vegetable crops are panned to be grown in future.

In addition specialists develop new products, skillfully combining taste and useful properties.

The activities of the production laboratory are aimed at ensuring the impeccable quality and safety of the manufactured products.

The laboratory complex is equipped with the latest methods and high-precision equipment, due to which many important measurements are performed in the shortest possible time and, in addition, the probability of errors caused by the human factor’ is minimized. The laboratories employ specialists with higher and secondary vocational education, who have extensive experience in production work and are able to carry out research at the highest level.

The quality management system of the company ‘Sady Pridonia’ Company is certified for compliance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard.

The plant for processing fruits and vegetables and producing puree in aseptic packaging, being the part of the industrial complex in Volgograd Region is equipped with the most modern equipment. Its capacity is 16 tons per hour. This is 400 tons per day, all production processes are fully automated.

The site has two lines developed by leading Italian engineers from CFT. One specializes only in processing pome crops (apples, pears, etc.), the other can also process root crops.

The plant uses cold mashing technology. Fruits do not undergo preliminary heat treatment, which allows obtaining puree of the highest quality as well as preserving the full amount of vitamins and useful minerals contained in vegetables and fruits. The puree is packaged in aseptic bags. Hermetic packaging guarantees a long, two years shelf life of the semi-finished product. However, consistently high demand ensures the use of stocks within one year.

Our plant capacity allows us to process plums, cherries, other stone fruits and berries. Carrot and pumpkin puree grown in our own fields is an important component of recipes for various nectars and baby food.

Production of concentrated juices has become widespread throughout the world. Our company uses this technology to create a reserve for the off-season period and lean years, use concentrated juices for blending and improve the organoleptic properties of finished products.

At the production facilities located in Sady Pridonia Village (Volgograd Region), apples and cherries are processed and concentrated juice or direct-squeezed juice is produced from it. Our plant is capable of processing 750 tons of apples per day, 200 tons of cherries per day and producing up to 70 tons of concentrated juice per day. Moreover the processing of two different products, apples and cherries, is carried out simultaneously, the processes are parallel.

Saratov Region is home to a plant for processing fruits, producing and storing concentrated juice. The production capacity is designed to process 50 thousand tons of apples, which come from the company  farms located in Saratov and Penza Regions.

The technological equipment of the plant as well as at the site in Volgograd Region was performed by the Swiss concern Bucher Unipektin. The complex is divided into two parts, one is occupied directly by production, and the second is a warehouse terminal.

There are 5.5 thousand tons of concentrated apple juice are stored in specialized containers in order to provide the head office with raw materials at any time.

The plant has 23 high-speed automatic bottling lines for juices, baby food, and dairy alternatives in the following formats: 0.125 l, 0.2 l, 1.0 l, 2.0 l.

In addition the production complex has a high-speed and multi-format automatic line for bottling products into glass packaging from the Italian concern CFT. It is capable of producing products in 5 different formats.

The warehouse of ‘Sady Pridonia’ stores more than 300 types of products. Each cell has its own address with a number of a row, section, place. The turnover of goods is only 8 days.

The shipment of products is carried out 365 days a year in 24/7 mode not only to all destinations in the country but also abroad.

The warehouse complex has a whole fleet of loading and unloading special equipment, due to which the products are quickly transported to the warehouse as well as its assembly on tiers of racks and 40 loading gates.

The Company built a complex for storing, sorting and packaging apples with a capacity of 20 thousand tons in Volgograd Region. The first stage, designed for 10 thousand tons, was put into operation in August 2019.
The complex includes a sorting shop and a refrigeration section with 40 chambers with a capacity of 250 tons each.

We use the innovative DCA+ technology (dynamic controlled atmosphere) for storage, which is the first to be implemented in Russia. With the help of special sensors based on the fluorescence method, the physiological state of the fruits is constantly measured and, based on this information the minimum permissible oxygen concentration is maintained in the chamber. Due to this technology maximum preservation of firmness, juiciness and other quality indicators of fruits during long-term storage is ensured.

The sorting shop has an automated line with a capacity of 12-15 tons per hour, which sorts apples simultaneously by several criteria: weight, color, density, diameter, shape, quality. The sorted fruits go to the packing tables according to size, where they are manually carefully placed in consumer packaging such as corrugated boxes or branded polyethylene bags. We do everything possible to preserve the taste and health benefits of apples that are sent from the complex to various retail outlets in our country.
